Soeur Regina Lacroix, MSC
In Memoriam
1924-2020
fais-nous revenir ;
que ton visage s’éclaire,
et nous serons sauvés.
Psaume 80:20
Born Marie Rachel LaCroix on June 21, 1924 she entered the Marianites of Holy Cross in January, 1949. She made her novitiate at Princeton, New Jersey. She made Perpetual Profession on September 26, 1953. Regina had a quick wit and willingness to serve. She was active in ministry at our hospitals in both Lac Mégantic and Mont Laurier. She retired to be active in the parish life at St. Agnes Church.
In 2014 she moved with the Marianites to Village Harmony and was surrounded by people with whom she had worked at the hospital and in the parish. Her radiant smile was a testimony to the goodness of God that she experienced in each person she met.
O Lord God of hosts, restore us;
use your face to shine upon us, and we will be saved.

Lord Jesus, source of all that is good, you inspired Blessed Basil Moreau
to found the religious family of Holy Cross to continue your mission
among the People of God. May he be for us a model of the apostolic life,
an example of fidelity and an inspiration as we strive to follow you.
May we imitate Basil Moreau’s holiness and confidently seek his intercession
before you, Lord Jesus, in our times of need. Amen.
